WEEK 90 - APRIL 1, 2019 - ASOKE

We had a great week with lots of miracles! It's been so humbling to see the Lord's hand in Thailand every day. He really is with us in everything especially the little things.

Last week I shared about brother Boom who we met on the subway. We were able to meet with him and teach him this week and he is so incredible! We taught him about the Godhead and prayer and he loved it! It was a very spiritual lesson. He begged us to keep teaching him, which we gladly did! He asked why there are so many different Christian denominations and we were able to testify of the Restoration. He gave a very heartfelt prayer to end the lesson. A few days later he came to church. He took very detailed notes during Sacrament meeting and the second hour of church. After church, he told us he had to hurry somewhere but he just couldn't pull himself away from the church building! He stayed for a lot of the family history class after church because he was so interested. He is so awesome and has been so prepared! We explained baptism and before we asked he told us that he wanted to be baptized. So awesome!

This week I had great switch offs with Elder Ference and Elder Davi,s who are both in my  group as well as a new missionary named Elder Hoban. I learned great things from all of them. They are each so diligent and have such a great love for the work. It didn't matter that some of them are finishing up their missions or that they were just starting, they each love the people and love the Savior and I am glad to serve with them.

Other highlights:
- Had an older member of the ward take us around to visit her friends while she danced and quietly sang "Called to Serve." I imagine she has a great reward in heaven for her service. She gets home from work and then instantly goes out to minister to all her neighbors. Not just members of the church but everyone!
- Watched a pigeon get run over by a car
- Moved houses. Our new house is really close which is good and we got a good workout in by moving all our stuff over!
- Met a family from Ogden
