WEEK 74 - DECEMBER 11, 2018 - DON MUEANG

Very eventful week! We had transfers this week. Elder Theobald is heading to Rangsit for a few weeks before he goes home and my new companion will be Elder Aekniran! He is from Thailand and I'm super excited to be his companion!

We also had our stake Christmas party this week where there was a ton of food and a big play about the nativity. The missionaries were a very big part of the play so that was fun. We sang the Little Drummer Boy and Elder Theobald and I were the wise men in the play. We got dressed up like wise men and there was a line after the play to take pictures with us and the other people in the play. It was really fun to see the whole play come together. There were members there at the church every day setting up. It all turned out really well and everyone loved it! Some of our investigators came and they loved it!

Update on the family we found that had a lot of trials: they are progressing super well! They prayed and asked for help from God and they got exactly what they prayed for. Every time we teach them they get goosebumps and show us they have goosebumps. Every time we introduce new things they say, "Elders look, goosebumps" They are so awesome!

Yesterday we went to a little market we go to very often but we walked on a different street. Everyone on the street turned out to be Christian! We gathered a buch of them together and taught the restoration and they all loved it! They were so excited to read the Book of Mormon and they loved hearing about a living prophet. It felt like the apostles at the beginning of the restoration stumbling on a community totally ready for the gospel. I'm so grateful for how Heavenly Father leads us.

Other highlights:
- helped at the Thai red cross center threw a bunch of big bags around for a while #lighttheworld
- switched off with Elder Ignacio
- had an investigator write 3 pages of notes on the first 2 chapters of Nephi
- bought pizza with 2 different kinds of cheese in the crust and the crust is covered in cheese and it has bacon

Thai name of the week: Gas

Love you all so much! Keep lighting the World and following the Savior! Have a great week!
