Super great week! This week one of our investigators, Sister Bang, got baptized! She was too excited to wait until next week so we moved it up to this week! She is super cool and all the members love her! I was really lucky to be able to teach her.
We went to the international ward because we have a man learning who is from Vietnam. In the fast and testimony meeting a Thai member stood up. He speaks decent English so his testimony was pretty good at the start. He was just testifying of Joseph Smith then he changed topics. He said something along the lines of "We all need to have families so I prayed and asked God who my wife is going to be. That night I had a dream of my wife. The lady in my dream was Lady Gaga. She offered me 10,000 US dollars to move to America and marry her. I told her no! I told her I don't want to marry Lady Gaga, I want to marry Lady Mormon." Then he closed his testimony and sat down. Hahaha it was hilarious.
Elder Calister was supposed to go to Pakistan after he visited us here but his trip got cancelled, so he came back and did a devotional with all the missionaries here! It was super cool. He just taught us the Plan of Salvation and went really in-depth. It was awesome to learn from him.
We just had 2 new elders move into our house so we've been helping them a lot this week. Our house that was kinda small just got a whole lot smaller but it's also been super fun having 4 elders here! Elder Ward and Elder Pastores whitewashed into our area and they're both awesome!
